Health and safety responsibilities for fusion energy facilities

HSE has produced a new webpage for those with responsibilities during the life-cycle of fusion energy facilities including designers, installers and operators.

The webpage includes information on:

  • health and safety regulations to manage health and safety risks of fusion energy facilities
  • signposting to other guidance for information on planning permission, emergency planning, and other hazards from fusion energy

HSE has also introduced a contact process for organisations developing fusion energy facilities to request an introductory meeting once they have reached an appropriate stage in their project.

Visit the webpage for further information: Fusion energy facilities.

  • display the health and safety law poster where your workers can easily read it
  • provide each worker with the equivalent health and safety law downloadable leaflet

There are various versions of the health and safety law poster, so you can select the most appropriate one for your business. You can:

HSE also provides health and safety law pocket cards. These are a legal alternative to the law poster and are easy to distribute for your workers to carry with them.
