So about the neighborhood barbecue, I checked the weather outlook and it looks like Saturday could be a bit windy but generally clear. I was thinking we could set up the folding tables near the back fence instead of by the patio so the smoke from the grill does not drift into the sitting area. My brother said he can bring his extra cooler and a couple bags of ice if we need them. For sides, I am planning to make that corn salad everyone liked last year, and maybe a tray of roasted vegetables. Did you decide if you are bringing the portable speaker? I remember it worked well at the block party. Let me know what time you want people to start arriving. I can be over early to help move furniture and set up the drink station.
