The White House withdrew President Donald Trump’s pick for a new ICE director, but did not say why Oklahoma state trooper Lance Schroyer’s nomination was pulled.

An ICE spokesperson said a statement is forthcoming. Acting ICE Director David Venturella is expected to remain in his role for the time being, according to the agency.
