Semantic search now covers Freshdesk, Twilio, Typeform, and incident.io
You can now search these sources by meaning as well as keyword. With these additional sources, Airbyte now offers agentic semantic search for ten connectors. A Gmail connector also shipped in this release, with OAuth sign-in and programmatic access to threads, labels, messages, and profile data.

Connector Skills now teach your agents
Connector skill docs are generated from each connector definition and its live sync state, so agents discover them the same way they discover data. Airbyte-authored skills go further into domain work like Shopify commerce analytics, support ticket triage, and advanced SOQL. Progressive disclosure ensures agents read the outline first, then pulls only the sections it needs, helping to lower the token count.

Destination Databricks 4.0 runs up to 4.5x faster
Direct Loading writes typed data straight to final tables and skips raw tables, staging moves from CSV plus gzip to Avro plus Snappy, and the connector is rebuilt on the Bulk CDK for better parallelism. One thing to plan for: if anything downstream reads the _airbyte_raw_* tables, migrate those queries and dbt models to the final tables before you upgrade. The deadline is October 1, 2026.

Six new community-built connectors joined the catalog
Ramp, Claude, Dust, Reddit Ads, Mntn, and Commission Junction all landed as sources, contributed by the community. These new connectors cover corporate card spend, Claude Platform usage and seat engagement, connected TV and Reddit ad performance, and affiliate commissions.

Capacity charts rebuilt, and audit logs for organization admins
Redesigned data worker capacity charts show real consumption instead of approximations, hold up to a year of history, and let you compare one period against another. Audit logs give organization admins an immutable record of who did what. Both are live now for Pro and Enterprise Flex.

SCIM provisioning and user groups are live
Connect Airbyte to Okta or Microsoft Entra ID to automatically add new users based on group settings and deactivate them when they leave. Both features are available on Pro and Enterprise Flex, and they comply with SOC 2 requirements.
