I called the office today to confirm the room for Thursday. I had to leave a message because the front desk was busy. I asked them to call me back by tomorrow afternoon. I wrote down the time I called, which was 2:14 PM. I keep a small notebook by the phone for this kind of thing now. I want to know if the projector will be in the room or if I need to bring my own. Last month we ended up in a different room because of a double booking. I would rather avoid that again. I also sent an email to Carla to check the reservation on her end. She usually replies within a day. I told her I was confirming for 11 AM, not 1 PM like the earlier draft said. I had made a note of the wrong time on my calendar and had to fix it. I will wait for Carla's reply before I send the final reminder to the rest of the group. I do not want to send out a time and then change it later. I think by Wednesday morning this should be settled. I will update the shared drive once I hear back.

I'll be back in the office next week. I was going to wait another few days, but there's no real reason to stay home now. The work I had to do from my laptop is pretty much finished. I was driving over there on Monday to pick up some files, and it looks like the desk area is back to normal. The building changed the front door code again, so I'll need to get that from the front desk. I also want to check the schedule for the weekly staff meeting. I think they moved it to Tuesday, but I'm not certain. Either way, I plan to be in by 8:30 AM on Monday. That gives me time to sort through the mail and restart my desktop. After that, I should be on the usual schedule for the rest of the month.
