About the neighborhood park update, I walked over there yesterday evening and the east path is fully reopened. The new gravel is packed down nicely and the benches near the pond have all been replaced.
I was thinking we could plan a morning walk there later this week if the forecast holds. Maybe Thursday around eight. I can bring the small cooler for cold water and we can loop the full circle before it gets busy.
The community board near the entrance now has a notice about the fall volunteer morning on the second Saturday. It looks like they are looking for help with planting along the main gate and clearing leaves from the drainage areas. I am going to sign up for a two hour slot.
