Good afternoon, Cedar Lane Community!
We have officially wrapped up our second week of the school year! Our students are settling into their schedules, building classroom habits, and making progress.
Please remember that in addition to today there is no school on Monday, September 7th, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. We hope all of our students, staff, and families enjoy a well-deserved, restful four-day weekend!
As we head into our third week of school, we appreciate our families' ongoing partnership in reinforcing the division-wide personal electronic device policy. As a reminder, all personal devices—including smartphones, smartwatches, personal laptops, tablets, and wireless earbuds—must remain turned off and stored away for the entire school day. Leaving these items at home is the best way to help students stay focused and present in class. Thank you for your continued support!
Last, please mark your calendars! We are excited to invite all of our families to Cedar Lane's Back to School Night next week:
This is a fantastic opportunity to walk through your student's schedule, meet our dedicated teachers and staff, and learn more about what to expect during the 2026–2027 school year. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
Wishing you a wonderful, safe, and restful long weekend!
