SPARK! Not Your Usual Art Market features handpicked art and food vendors, including ceramics and prints from The Studios at Arlington Arts, crochet stuffies, henna designs, hand crafted and reclaimed jewelry, zines, notecards, and vinyl records from SMASH! Records. See live action rug tufting from Loomea Tuft Studio, get massage-by-the-minute from Zen27, and enjoy food and drinks from Rossana Coffee and Mango Mama. And don't miss Pie à la Mode: Amanda's Churn and Acme Pie will be on site 12-2pm, serving from bicycles, with artisan ice cream and locally baked pie.
Plus you can get a free custom poem written for you by Hannah Grieco, listen to DJ duo Leon City Sounds, and enjoy a free interactive art project from calligrapher Felecia Brice McFail. Come hang out with us the first Sunday of every month at the 2700 Art Space!

Fueled by the Great Depression, a thirst for fame, and a reckless romance, two Texas outlaws captivated an entire nation. This September, The Arlington Players open their 76th season with the Tony-nominated musical Bonnie & Clyde. The show pairs historical drama with a score spanning rockabilly, blues, and traditional Broadway. The story follows Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow’s rapid descent from West Texas locals into America's most wanted fugitives.

Jeffrey Smith: "Paintings from the Powhatan Project"

Growing up on Powhatan street in nearby McLean, Jeffrey Smith was inspired by the Algonquin streets and places. These vivid paintings tell powerful stories rooted in the Potomac River region. Adapting the Japanese marbling technique of suminagashi, Jeffrey creates pieces that convey the intelligence perceptible in nature written into the land by the ceaselessly repeating patterns of growth, decay, seasons, tides and wind. Join on Saturday, September 5 to meet the artist at the opening reception.

Acoustic Cafe: The Co-Conspirators and Sean Tracy

Kick off the 2026 Acoustic Cafe fall season with a fan-favorite Canadian touring duo, The Co-Conspirators, with local singer-songwriter Sean Tracy as the opening performer. The Co-Conspirators are Will Richards and Katherine Simons, who create folk/singer-songwriter music with elements of country, rock, blues, gospel, bluegrass, spiritual, and general roots music. With heavy emphasis on vocal harmonies, this duo had been compared to The Weavers, Ian and Sylvia Tyson, and The Mamas and the Papas.
Sean Tracy is a self-taught guitarist and vocalist who prides himself in both his public performance and his songwriting, focusing primarily on folk rock and alt country. He teaches science by day at Wakefield High School and puts the rock back in acoustic rock every night.
