Hello Bailey's Tiger Families,
Week 2 has come and its almost gone and we’re excited to welcome September! We’re already looking forward to all that this month has in store and are so excited about everything it has brought so far.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our Odyssey of the Mind informational meeting! We hope you enjoyed learning more about this exciting opportunity for our students. If your student is interested in participating, remember that the deadline to sign up is next week. Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to get involved, learn new skills, and have fun!
We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful and relaxing four-day weekend! Take some time to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Tuesday, September 8th.

Friendly Reminder that schools will be closed on Friday, Sept. 4th and Monday, Sept. 7 in honor of Labor Day. We thank each and every single one of you for all your hard work and appreciate all workers!

Looking for a creative challenge for your child? Odyssey of the Mind (OM) is a PTA-led after-school opportunity where students build creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and performance skills by working together on fun challenges!
- Students are selected through a lottery
- The number of available spots depends on volunteer coaches
- Parent Head Coaches are guaranteed spot for their child(ren)
- Teams meet from October-March working towards the regional tournament on Saturday, March 6 at Oakton HS.
- Meeting schedules/locations are determined by each team, usually weekly at primary, library, or a home
- $30-$60 per participant cost and financial aid is available
We’d love for you to join us at our first PTA meeting on Monday, September 14 at 6:30 PM! Doors open at 6:00 PM
Come meet other families, learn more about the PTA, hear from our guest speakers and help us kick off a wonderful school year together. We hope to see you there!

Our PTA is about so much more than meetings. We work hard to ensure that our students, teachers, and parents have the support and resources they need to thrive.
Every fundraiser we hold helps make a difference in our school community. Thanks to the incredible support of our families, we’re able to give back to our schools in meaningful ways throughout the year. Every time you volunteer or sign up for membership helps us get one step closer to supporting our school!

By joining as a member of the PTA it keeps you connected to the Bailey's family and abreast of important information & events. When joining you can volunteer as much or as little as you can. There are no requirements. Your membership dues go towards many of the programs and initiatives used to support students, staff and families throughout the year.

Join us for a special celebration of culture, diversity, and community!
We will host our 4th annual Global Community Festival on Friday, November 13th. Come together with friends, families, and our school community for an exciting evening filled with music, food, cultural traditions, and fun for everyone!
