Dear Halley Community,

We have officially completed our second week of school, and it has been wonderful to see our Hornets settling into their classrooms, building friendships, and growing as learners.

This week, our administrative team led Student Rights & Responsibilities (SR&R) assemblies for students in grades 3–6 (1^st and 2^nd grade will have their assemblies next week). Students engaged in meaningful discussions about appropriate school behavior, school expectations, their rights, and their responsibilities as members of our school community.

Our upper grade students also enjoyed a special visit from the South County High School Band and Orchestra. Their talented musicians shared their love of music and helped spark interest in our performing arts programs. We are grateful to South County High School for inspiring our students!

We wish our families a safe, relaxing, and fun Labor Day weekend. We look forward to welcoming all of our students back to school on Tuesday, September 8.
