Help with our BTSN Staff Dinner Sept. 9

Our incredible staff and teachers will be working a full day and staying late into the evening to welcome families. To show our appreciation and keep them fueled, administrators are providing pizza. We’d love your help rounding out the meal with fresh salads, fruit, and desserts!

All donations should be delivered to the school office by Wednesday, September 9th at 3:30 p.m. Refrigeration will be available if you’d like to drop items off earlier in the day.

PTSA Meeting Sept. 16, 7 p.m.

We'll hear from Principal Dr. Ben Nowak, meet our Teacher/Staff liaison John Bertha, review the PTSA budget and annual spending priorities, highlight volunteer opportunities, cover renovation progress, and more.

PTSA Student Liaison Opportunity

Each year PTSA looks for 2-5 students from each class to serve as PTSA Student Liaisons. These students are a voice for student concerns, needs, and suggestions to the PTSA and school administration. The main responsibility for this role is to be an active participant at PTSA meetings and share your opinions when asked. We encourage the Liaisons to participate in PTSA programs and activities, and even develop ideas for new programs or ideas for the school community as a team. Jaguar Pantry News

Saturday, September 12th is the next Food For Neighbors Pick Up Day…please have your bag out by 8:30am

If you are a Food For Neighbors Red Bag Donor, THANK YOU! These are the items we most need for the pantry at this time: individual boxes of milk (plain and flavored), fruit juice boxes, granola bars, cereal cups, crackers, fruit cups, cup noodles (extra points from the kids for Maruchan brand), tuna/chicken snacks (not flavored), small pouches of tuna or chicken. 

We also need drivers with a medium or large vehicle on Saturday, September 12th from 10:15am-11:30am to help us move full bins of food from Luther Jackson MS to the Jaguar pantry space at CityLight Church in Falls Church. If you are available, please let us know (Pantry@fchsptsa.org)!
