Yeah I finally put the tall shelf together over the weekend. It took longer than expected because the drill battery died halfway through.
Still need to sort through the box of old cords and decide which ones actually still work.
I think I will tackle that after I finish the laundry that has been sitting in the basket.
The weather has been nice enough to open a window for a bit, so that helped.
Also found some trail maps from last year tucked behind the desk.
Not sure if I should recycle them or keep one for reference.
Anyway, the room looks much better now that everything is off the floor.

Honestly the noise from the construction site has not been that bad for the past two days.
I think they moved the big equipment around the corner, so now it is more of a low rumble than anything else.
My neighbor said they saw the crew taking a break near the old oak tree.
Also, the corner store finally restocked the good sparkling water, which was a nice surprise.
I went for a walk after dinner and the air smelled like rain.
It did not rain though, just stayed humid.
I should probably trim the bushes in the front yard this Saturday if the weather holds up.
