If you’ve lost someone you love or want to support someone who is grieving, then you need to read this important piece
by Ruby Kraner-Tucci. In a special two-part series, Ruby has explored the universal and intrinsically human experience of grief and how we don’t talk about it enough in Australia. People have opened up to her about the aftermath of losing the most important people to them suddenly, through suicide, cancer or car crashes. This is an issue that is deeply personal for Ruby.
Her dad, prominent child’s rights activist Joe Tucci, died suddenly a couple of years ago.
“I was cloaked in a deep grief that until my mid-20s I had been lucky enough to escape,” Ruby writes. “But when it did eventually wrap its heavy arms around me, it exposed an unexpected side effect of grieving – as a community, we don’t know how to talk about it. Grief is the most intrinsic part of being human, and yet, the very mention of my dad’s name over the past two years has brought fear and discomfort from those around me.”
You can read her powerful first-person account here.

Meanwhile, you might think a sex therapist – who sits across from new people every week and hears things they’ve never told anyone before – is most surprised by infidelity, kinks or wild stories. But as Ally Moore reveals, it’s actually something else entirely.
She’s penned a 'confessions of a sex therapist' piece and revealed seven sex truths everyone should know.
Lastly, with peptides exploding online and being spruiked at an alarming rate on TikTok, we’ve unmasked an unusual identity
who faced the courts for selling unregulated vials online: a bricklayer. One message in a group chat claimed the business earned $30,000 in only three hours. It comes after we previously named tradies, influencers and cleaning companies allegedly linked to these peptide websites. Doctors are alarmed by just how regularly people are now buying these products with the aim of improving their tan, losing weight or building muscle. We have previously exposed how
the injectables aren’t what they claim to be. Until next week.
