Why Does Your PTA Membership Matter: Membership gives families a voice in PTA decisions, supports the school through membership dues, builds community, and funds events, programs, and essential school needs. Members are not required to volunteer.

Boohoo!/Woohoo! Breakfast- First Day of School Join Oak View PTA on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 8:45–9:15 a.m., right after school starts. We’ll gather in the courtyard in front of the cafeteria, where coffee and pastries will be served. Please RSVP so we know how many parents to expect!

Popsicles on the Playground Join the PTA Monday, August 17, from 6:30–7:30 p.m. for rising first through sixth graders, or Wednesday, August 19, from 6:30–7:30 p.m. for rising kindergarteners. Everyone is welcome to attend either session! This is an outdoor event, so there will be no access to bathrooms inside the school.
