Who Has Your Back? Connection and Your Whole Health

Healthy Relationships Support Your Whole Health

The people in your corner do more for your health than you might think. Healthy relationships with family, friends, pets, and loved ones can help you feel better inside and out. They can lift your mood, lower stress, and even improve your physical health.

 Why Relationships Matter

  • Feel Happier: Good relationships give life meaning and joy.
  • Stay Healthier: Connection can lower stress and even help you fight off a cold.
  • Live Longer: People with strong social ties often live healthier lives.

Try This to Feel the Benefits of Connection:

  • Call or visit someone you care about.
  • Ask a friend to join you for a walk or a cup of coffee.
  • Join a group or volunteer in your community.

Veterans Helping Veterans

Sometimes the best support comes from those who understand your journey. Whole Health helped Veteran George Mauer reconnect with the people around him and find new meaning through his relationships with friends, family, and co-workers. His story shows the power of community and belonging. Read more here: George Mauer: Friends, Family, and Co-workers
