Jurors walked through the Massachusetts home where Lindsay Clancy strangled her three children, a rare visit Friday that let them see firsthand the place where an outwardly ordinary family life unraveled into tragedy.

After being driven past two businesses relevant to the narrative of the January 2023 killings, jurors were escorted in groups of six to view the inside of the house, including the basement where the children died. During the roughly 40-minute visit, the jury also saw the yard where Clancy was found after jumping from a second-story window.

Journalists were kept away by a police barricade, but court officers could be seen through the trees escorting jurors to and from the bus along the site of the Clancy family’s former driveway. The home now has a new owner.

A Massachusetts woman has been arrested after allegedly abusing her infant child.

Prosecutors said Thursday that 34-year-old Jillian Timmons had allegedly caused physical harm to her 2-month-old daughter.

Timmons is charged with two counts of assault and battery on a child causing serious bodily injury and one count of reckless endangerment of a child, the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office said.

Get ready for a traffic change on the Massachusetts Turnpike to end the week — it’s a major milestone for the massive project rerouting traffic in Newton.

Crews from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation will close a lane westbound starting at 10 p.m. Friday, lasting until 6 a.m. Saturday. When the work is done, drivers will be shifted onto the new bridge.

Armed robbers stole a U.S. Postal Service master key from a worker in Billerica, Massachusetts, on Thursday, police said.

No one was injured in the robbery in the parking lot of the USPS sorting facility on Brick Kiln Road, according to Billerica police.

At about 4:25 p.m., two men in a black Cadillac had shown a gun and demanded a USPS employee’s arrow key, then drove off toward Chelmsford Street.

The death of an 18-year-old woman at a home in Mattapan earlier this month has been ruled a homicide, Boston police said Thursday.

Yoseliani Ann Marte Ocasio, of Boston, was found dead at a home on Malta Road on Saturday, July 18, police said. Her death was ruled a homicide by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on Thursday.
