Yeah, I finally got around to watching that documentary on deep sea ecosystems. Honestly, it was way longer than I expected but the footage of those bioluminescent creatures was absolutely stunning. I had no idea that so much of the ocean floor is still completely unmapped. It makes you realize how little we actually know about the planet we live on. Anyway, it got me thinking about that old diving course we kept talking about taking. Maybe this summer we should actually look into it? Let me know what you think. I could use a proper vacation. Work has been non-stop and I feel like I haven't had a real break in ages. Even just a weekend somewhere quiet would be amazing. We should definitely try to coordinate schedules and make it happen this time.

Oh, by the way, I finally tried that recipe you sent me for the lemon herb chicken. It turned out pretty good, though I accidentally added way too much garlic. I don't think that's really a problem though, is it? Ha. I served it with some roasted vegetables and a simple salad. The whole meal came together in about 45 minutes, which was nice for a weeknight. Let me know if you have any other easy go-to meals. I'm trying to cook more at home instead of ordering takeout all the time. My wallet will definitely thank me. I'm also thinking of getting a new cast iron skillet. The one I have is starting to rust a little bit. Do you have any recommendations on brands? I've heard good things about Lodge but I'm open to spending a bit more if it's worth it. Let me know what you think.
