Yeah I finally got around to watching that documentary you mentioned. It was really well done especially the part about the restoration work. I had no idea how much effort goes into preserving those old buildings. The cinematography was stunning too especially the drone shots over the countryside. I ended up watching it twice because there was so much detail I missed the first time. My favorite segment was probably the one about the cathedral just because of the sheer scale of what they were trying to do. Anyway thanks for the recommendation. I have got another one queued up now about deep sea exploration. Apparently they found some really interesting species on the latest expedition. The footage of the bioluminescent creatures was incredible. Let me know if you want to watch it together sometime. I was thinking maybe this weekend if you are free. We could order takeout and make an evening of it.

I tried that new Italian place downtown last night and it was fantastic. The homemade pasta was unlike anything I have had in a long time. I ordered the truffle mushroom tagliatelle and it was perfectly cooked creamy but not heavy. My friend got the seafood risotto and said it was the best she has had since her trip to Venice. We shared a bottle of Chianti that paired really well with both dishes. The ambiance was nice too not too loud with exposed brick walls and candlelight. I am already planning to go back next month for their tasting menu. They also have a really good tiramisu that we tried for dessert and it was the perfect way to end the meal.
