Hey, I finally made it to that trail we talked about last month. The weather was perfect—cool in the morning and sunny by midday. We started at 7 AM and finished around noon. The views from the top were absolutely incredible, way better than the photos online. I saw a few deer and a bunch of wildflowers. The trail was well-marked but a bit rocky in parts, so proper boots were a good call.

We packed sandwiches and ate them at the summit. There was a small lake halfway that was perfect for a quick break. I wish you could have come, but I took lots of pics.
