I think the hiking trail we talked about is perfect for next Saturday. The weather forecast looks good with temperatures in the low seventies. The trail is about five miles round trip with a moderate elevation gain. I checked the park website and they have plenty of parking. We should bring at least two liters of water each and some snacks. The trailhead opens at seven in the morning so we can start early to avoid the crowds. I have a good map of the area and there are several scenic overlooks along the way. The path is well maintained but there are some rocky sections so good hiking boots are recommended. I will bring my camera because the views are supposed to be amazing this time of year.
