Hey, I was just thinking about that conversation we had last week regarding the best way to prune the rose bushes. You mentioned cutting them back quite a bit in the early spring, and I finally got around to doing it over the weekend. The weather was perfect for it, sunny but not too hot. I also ended up weeding the entire front bed, which took much longer than I anticipated. My back is still a little sore today, but it looks so much better. So I finally decided to rearrange the living room furniture, and honestly, it makes such a huge difference in how the space feels. I moved the sofa away from the wall and angled it towards the fireplace, which opens up the walkway completely. The cats were very confused for a day, but now they love the new setup, especially the sunny spot by the window that is now accessible again. I also hung up some new shelves that I picked up from the local craft market, they add a nice rustic touch to the otherwise modern decor. It is amazing how much a small change like that can refresh your whole perspective on a room. I am already thinking about what to tackle next, maybe the spare bedroom.
