Our friends at Unlearn are hosting a free, hands-on workshop this week:
Generative UI: Building Apps That Compose Themselves
June 3, 2026 | 4:00 PM CEST | 90 minutes
Modern apps need to show different things to different people.
Different roles, different data, different states.
The usual fix is a pile of conditionals that keeps growing and nobody wants to touch.
Generative UI is the alternative.
You give a model the building blocks — components, context, constraints — and it assembles the interface at runtime. Same app, same components, no conditional spaghetti.
In 90 minutes, Alex from Unlearn will walk you through a practical architecture for it, building on a working prototype.
You'll leave knowing how to:
- Wire up an app where data and freeform prompts decide which components render
- Make sure the model only uses components you've built and approved (no invented markup)
- Make "add a new component" a five-minute job instead of a refactor
- Pull apart a working prototype you can take with you
And if your app feels too simple for this? It isn't.
One adaptive onboarding step. One empty state that suggests the actually-useful next action. That's often the difference between "neat app" and "wait, how did it know that?"
