Good news for your upcoming departures! At the end of April, Brussels South Charleroi Airport inaugurated its brand-new security screening infrastructure, located on Plaza Princesse Astrid, opposite Terminal 1.
Designed to significantly improve the passenger experience, this new facility enables better crowd management during peak hours and offers a smoother, clearer, and more comfortable journey from the moment you arrive at the airport.
With 14 security screening lanes (compared to 9 previously), brighter spaces, completely redesigned signage, and a reorganized, more spacious departures hall, everything has been planned to reduce waiting times and ensure optimal conditions ahead of the summer season.
This new infrastructure was officially inaugurated on April 23 in the presence of Cécile Neven, Thomas Dermine, Gilles Samyn, and Christophe Segaert.
This major development reflects the airport’s commitment to providing passengers with an ever more seamless and enjoyable travel experience.
