Yeah, I'm still planning on going to the concert next weekend. I actually just checked the venue's updated policies and it looks like they changed the bag policy so I need to bring a smaller one. The opening act changed too, which is fine because I wasn't really into the original one anyway. Traffic has been awful around that area lately so I think I'll leave about an hour earlier than I originally planned. Let me know if you guys are doing anything for dinner beforehand. There's that BBQ place just down the street that everyone keeps talking about. I tried calling them yesterday to see if they take reservations but nobody picked up so maybe they are closed on Mondays. Anyway, it should be a great show. The weather forecast is looking good so far which is a relief. I heard the acoustics at that venue are amazing.

I tried making that lasagna recipe you sent me last week and honestly it was a lot harder than I expected. The sauce came out way too watery and I think I might have overdone the cheese because it turned out really oily on top. I ended up having to bake it for almost twenty minutes longer than the recipe said just to get it to set properly. The flavor was decent but definitely not as good as yours. Maybe I'll try it again sometime but with a few adjustments next time. Actually, I also wanted to ask if you've seen my good kitchen knife. I can't seem to find it anywhere since the last time you borrowed it. No rush or anything just let me know when you get a chance. Also, that new bakery on main street is amazing. I stopped there yesterday and got a loaf of sourdough and it was still warm when I walked out the door. You should totally check it out if you haven't already. They also have these incredible croissants that are perfectly flaky.
