EDISON PHYSICAL NIGHT - TONIGHT:
Attention rising 9th graders interested in playing high school sports!
Don’t miss this opportunity to complete your required sports physical for the upcoming school year while supporting the student-athletes of Thomas A. Edison High School.
This event is more than just a convenience for athletes — it is the Athletic Training Program’s primary fundraiser. Proceeds from the event help stock the athletic training room with essential supplies, including tape, bandages, rehabilitation equipment, and other resources that keep athletes safe, healthy, and ready to compete throughout the year.
By participating, athletes will:
- Complete their VHSL-required sports physical for the entire 2026–2027 school year
- Support the Athletic Training Program and the care provided to student-athletes every day
- Receive a convenient, low-cost physical before fall sports begin

8TH GRADE DANCE:
The 8th Grade Dance will take place on June 12th from 6:00–8:00 PM—and we need your help to make it a special night for our students! Our theme this year is An Evening in Paris, which was voted on by the students.

Every contribution—big or small—helps create a memorable celebration for our 8th graders as they wrap up their middle school journey. Thank you for your support!
8TH GRADE FIELD DAY:
On June 17, we will celebrate the last day of school and our final day with our 8th-grade Tigers at Field Day!
To make this event a success, the Twain administrators, teachers, and staff rely on donations and support from our amazing Twain community. This year, for added convenience, many of the requested items have been added to an Amazon Wishlist, with items shipped directly to the school.
As our 8th graders do not have a graduation ceremony, Field Day, and the 8th Grade Dance serve as two special opportunities to celebrate and recognize them before they head off to high school. We hope to make these events memorable for every student.
