Dear Haycock families,
I wanted to bring something to your attention. In the past week, we have had two bikes taken from the bike racks outside the front entrance to Haycock. If your child rides their bike to school, we suggest that you send a bike lock with them to ensure their bikes will be safe during the school day.
It is certainly disappointing to think this could happen at our school and in our community. I think it will help if we keep our eyes open for the missing bikes (one a blue/purple tinge Trek bike with lime green stickers and one a light gray 19fifty seven Conte bike ) If you see either of these bikes abandoned in the neighborhoods surrounding school, please contact the Haycock office, 703-531-4000. Both missing bikes have been reported to the police.
We appreciate your partnership and our collective effort to watch out for one another.
