The PTSA, through the Hospitality Committee, supports staff throughout the year by planning appreciation events such as these gifts. To our Nurses, Thank you for all that you do for our community.

Appreciation for MHS Teachers and Staff

Earlier this month, the PTSA celebrated McLean High School’s Teachers and Staff. The PTSA catered a boxed lunch from Panera and drinks donated by generous PTSA parents. The PTSA also gifted tee-shirts with handwritten thank you notes to the teachers and staff in appreciation for all they do for the school community. The PTSA, through the Hospitality Committee, supports staff throughout the year by planning appreciation events such as this week. Tune in to Second Story's free seminar about the risks of young people involved in online gambling. With the summer approaching and many students spending more time online, there is an increased risk for them to gain exposure to gambling-like features in games, sports betting content and online gambling platforms. Second Story's free, virtual learning session will help parents learn about the risks and impacts of online gambling.

About Second Story:  Since 1972, Second Story has been working with Northern Virginia communities to empower local youth, young mothers, and families in crisis by providing safe housing, counseling, and essential resources to achieve long-term self-sufficiency.
