Hi there, I saw your question about the camping trip this weekend. The forecast is looking decent – partly cloudy with a high around 72°F, so we should be comfortable. I’ve already packed the tent and sleeping bags, but I still need to sort out the cooking gear. Do you have the portable stove or should I bring mine? Also, we should decide on meals. I was thinking of doing foil packets with vegetables and some marinated chicken. Let me know what you think. If you want, I can pick up some extra firewood on the way. The site we reserved has a fire pit and picnic table, so that’s good. We might want to arrive early to set up before dark. Let me know your ETA. I’ll bring the marshmallows for the campfire, but we can grab anything else locally. Looking forward to it.

Our book club meeting last night was quite engaging. We discussed the latest novel by Celeste Ng, and opinions were split. Some found the character development slow, while others appreciated the layered storytelling. I leaned toward the latter – the way she weaves multiple timelines is impressive. For our next meeting, we’re considering either a non-fiction title about culinary history or a short story collection. I suggested we rotate genres to keep things fresh. Also, we need to decide on a date – everyone seemed open to the second Tuesday of next month. I can host if my kitchen renovation finishes on time; otherwise, we might use the community room at the library. Let me know if you have any preference on the book choice. I’ll send a poll later this week.
