VASNHS debuts next generation of robotic surgery

VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System is home of one of the most robust robotic surgery programs within VA. The facility recently debuted a new next-generation platform to build on the success of their program and bring meaningful improvements to enhance patient care, support surgeons, and improve operating room efficiency. 

2026 VA2K Walk & Roll set for May 20

Join us for VA's 16th annual VA2K Walk & Roll May 20, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the North Las Vegas VA Medical Center. This annual event includes a Health Resource Fair benefit homeless Veterans via in-kind donations.

"Day of Gratitude" set for Allegiant Stadium June 6

The Department of Veterans Affairs will participate in Day of Gratitude festivities at Allegiant Stadium from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 6. Activities include a VetFest Resources Fair, awards ceremony, live music and gratitude gifts. The event is open to service members, Veterans and their families and registration is required.

Veterans find healing, hobby in crochet group

Every Monday, a small but growing circle of Veterans settles into a room at the Southwest Las Vegas VA Clinic, hooks and yarn in hand. Some come with anxious fingers and busy minds. Some come carrying decades of grief, PTSD, and traumatic brain injuries that no prescription has fully touched. What they all find is something they didn’t expect - peace.
