Hi DeepModer,

When training an AI model, the images you upload matter more than most people expect.

A lot of inconsistent results usually start during the training process itself.

Blurry photos, repetitive angles, beauty filters, sunglasses, heavy cropping, or low-quality uploads can affect facial consistency, realism, lighting, and overall image quality later on.

Image variety also matters a lot.

Using a mix of close-ups, mid shots, full-body images, different lighting conditions, and natural expressions helps the AI understand the subject better instead of overfitting to a single look.

Uploading more images also doesn’t automatically improve the model. In many cases, a smaller set of clean, high-quality photos performs better than uploading dozens of inconsistent images.

We put together a simple guide covering common beginner mistakes people make when training their first AI model and how to avoid them.
