Greetings Laurel Ridge Families,
It’s hard to believe that we’ve reached the end of the 3rd quarter and that April is just around the corner! I am thrilled to share that Mr. Amofa Agyekum, Assistant Building Supervisor, was celebrated as the Region 4 Outstanding Operational Employee. His nomination was especially sweet because it was initiated by some amazing 5th grade students. Mr. Amofa embodies Laurel Ridge’s vision of inclusion and compassion for all. He is a force of positivity that brightens all our days.
Last night, the PTA hosted Every Lion, One Book Trivia Night. It was a spirited competition that help us celebrate our community reading of Legends of Lotus Island by Christina Soontornvat. Following Spring Break, we look forward to seeing you at Wednesday’s PTA meeting and at the Robinson Pyramid Art Show on Thursday.
I wish your families a wonderful spring break!
