Here we observe the email maker in their natural habitat.
Over-caffeinated. Under-thanked. Toggling between seventeen tabs. We hear one say, “just one more revision” like a spell they are casting on themselves.
As we zoom in on their inbox, we spot the Really Good Emails Annual Survey email sent in February, still marked as "unread."
With enough responses, we can gather meaningful data about how this fascinating species actually works: their tools, their struggles, their rituals, their strange emotional dependence on open rates and tiny green approval checkmarks.
But at current levels, the data is still too thin. Like broth made from one sad carrot.
Will they take the survey? Nature remains mysterious.
Please take the survey. For science. For community. For the carrot.
