Your business won't break if you take a break, Iza.
I said this to a client earlier today and I feel like you need to hear it too.
As high achieving driven women, pulling back or resting scares the crap out of us.
If we take a break that means demand will dry up.
That we'll have fewer sales.
We're so used to being "on" all the time that we don't ever give our brain a rest.
Ironically, that's when we feel the MOST disconnected from our business.
Giving ourselves rest actually makes us more money. It slows us down. It helps us quiet the noise so we can actually hear our voice. It shows us what we ultimately want.
It doesn't mean you have to take months off. It could be as simple as taking a day or two or even a week to just rest.
The demand will still be there when you get back.
And instead of pushing a boulder up a hill, you'll feel way more excited about what you're actually selling.
So if your marketing feels like it's falling flat these days or sales are a bit slower or you're having a hard time doing the things you know how to do...
ask yourself: do I actually need to do more?
Or do I just need a break?
