Dear Direct Response Letter Subscriber:

Every day, people I don’t know ask me for advice—mostly related to copywriting, book writing, freelancing, and info marketing.

They hope and expect I will dispense the advice immediately... and at no cost.

​

Well, I want to help them.

​

And I do not seek to monetize that or exploit them in any way.

So, to answer their questions, when appropriate I tell them in which of my books they can find the answer--and provide a link to the book on Amazon for their convenience.

But, when I do so, some of them take umbrage with me.

​

Some accuse me of being a money-grubber, because they think I am trying to sell them a book-- rather than just simply answering their question for free in an email.

Well, let me set them—and you, if you have ever felt the same way about me—straight.

​

Often, the question is nuanced, so that I simply cannot give a thorough and meaningful answer a short email reply.

​

Now consider, I took pains in the book to carefully and deliberately address their specific concern.

​

The book provides the advice they seek in anywhere from a single page to an entire chapter ranging from 300 to 5,000 words.

​

In most cases, you can buy a used copy of the book on Amazon for just a few bucks.

​

Given this fact, isn't it reasonable for me to point you to one of my existing resources, rather than spend endless hours answering the same questions over and over again online?

​

As for how much money I make from you if you buy my book used on Amazon, the answer is:

​

None. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

​

Because as a traditionally published author, I earn royalties only on sales of new books.

​

Nothing on used books.

​

I suppose I could repackage the book's contents as an expensive mastermind group, membership site, coaching, consultation, or mentoring program.

​

But, for your benefit...and, to my financial detriment…that's not the way I roll.

​

I show you how you can get it for pennies on the dollar—with none of it going into my pocket.

​

I can't think of a more reasonable—or fairer—way to help you. Right?
