K-Beauty’s Second Wave Is Hitting Canada Now. These Are the Must-Try Products |

Super effective and well priced (everything here is under $45), Korea's new skincare heroes are easier to shop than ever |

It’s been over a decade since BB creams, overnight masks and 10-step routines blew our minds and blew up our skincare habits. The marvel of K-beauty’s unique formulas, incredible textures and quirky ingredients (snail slime, anyone?) hasn’t worn off since. We’re still chasing glass skin with products from both Korean brands and Western ones inspired by them.
Now, the second boom is here, fuelled by K-beauty’s perma-viral TikTok status and reasonable prices. After years of relying on online-only sites, Canadians can finally find a lot more of Korea’s buzziest brands on shelves from Holt Renfrew to Walmart. This fall, Sephora will double down on it by rolling out dedicated zones curated by Olive Young, Korea’s top beauty and health retailer.
