Snow for some over next 24 hours. Weekend winter storm brewing?

Today is the warmest day of the week, and the warmest so far this month. We’ll reach into the mid and upper 40s with lots of clouds and a steady south/southwest breeze. The rain showers will wait until the mid/late afternoon to swing through, and the cold will be slow to return tonight.

That said, we could see some wet snow mix in late tonight across northern Worcester County as temps drop back to the low 30s.

It’s a mild(ish) start to the day tomorrow, but with colder air moving in on a gusty wind, we’re likely to see the temperatures slowly drop despite the sunshine. Gusts will be near 40mph as our storm system deepens to in the Maritime Provinces. The cold will settle in for the coming days as the weather remains quiet into the first part of the weekend.
