Digikala’s first flagship store occupies 400 m² inside the Royal Mall in Tehran, and marks a significant reversal in retail evolution. After decades of digital migration, the project explores the opposite trajectory: how the strengths of an online platform can be extended into physical space, expanding interaction into an architectural and sensory experience.
The Silverback Grizzly 21 LE is not a typical patrol boat. Developed through a close collaboration between Petestep AB of Stockholm and Silverback Marine in Tacoma, Washington, this 21-foot aluminum vessel was commissioned by the New Mexico State Parks Rangers with a clear purpose: deliver high-speed response capability, protect the crew from fatigue, and perform reliably across rivers, lakes, bays, and modest offshore conditions.
While studying in the Furniture Design program at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Stephen Thrasher became fascinated by studio furniture makers who embraced digital fabrication. Among all tools, CNC machining stood out to him as a bridge between traditional woodworking and computational precision.

Academic design studios have evolved into experimental laboratories where emerging technologies merge with traditional architectural workflows. A notable example is the Epicycloid Blossom project from the Deep Design Studio at the Iran University of Science and Technology, which investigates how mathematical curves, Python scripting, and AI can collaborate to create precise spatial geometries ready for fabrication.
