HRSA HIV/AIDS Bureau Update: Special Bulletin

The Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) shares the following important updates and events with our Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) and HAB Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. (EHE) recipients, subrecipients, stakeholders, national partners, and federal colleagues.


Mark Your Calendar: June HAB You Heard Webinar – June 30 @ 3 PM ET

Please join HRSA’s HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) for the June HAB You Heard webinar on Tuesday, June 30, from 3:00 – 4:00 PM ET. During this monthly update from HAB, we will be joined by a special guest from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services who will share an overview about Essential Community Providers. Additionally, we will provide the latest updates and key reminders about the 2026 National Ryan White Conference, discuss several new HIV/AIDS Bureau funding opportunities, and highlight National HIV Testing Day and HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day. The HAB You Heard webinar is open to all RWHAP and HAB Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. (EHE) recipients, subrecipients, stakeholders, and federal staff. Registration is required to participate.

Funding Opportunity: Nutrition Interventions to Reduce Chronic Disease and Improve HIV Outcomes for People with HIV: Implementation Technical Assistance Provider (HRSA-26-111) – Pre-Application Webinar June 18

HRSA’s HIV/AIDS Bureau published a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part F Special Projects of National Significance (SPNS) Program “Nutrition Interventions to Reduce Chronic Disease and Improve HIV Outcomes for People with HIV: Implementation Technical Assistance Provider.” The purpose of this cooperative agreement is to use implementation science to adapt, implement, and evaluate interventions that improve food and nutrition security for people with HIV who are eligible for Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program’s medical nutrition therapy, food bank/home delivered meals, and other applicable service categories. One cooperative agreement recipient is expected to be awarded. A NOFO pre-application webinar is scheduled for Thursday, June 18, at 2:00 PM ET.

Register Today for the 2026 National Ryan White Conference: August 4-7

There’s still time to register for the 2026 National Ryan White Conference on HIV Care & Treatment! The conference takes place August 4-7, 2026, at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC. Attendees can register to attend this hybrid conference in person or virtually through the official conference website. Reflecting on the theme, Building on 35 Years of CARE: Strengthening our Foundation and Advancing Access to End the HIV Epidemic, this year’s conference will be packed with engaging sessions, insightful poster presentations, and in-person and virtual networking opportunities.  

While virtual attendance is unlimited, there are capacity limits for the in-person conference. Please contact your Health Resources and Services Administration HIV/AIDS Bureau Project Officer if you have questions about attendance or who from your grant recipient team should attend.
