Hey, I just got back from the nursery and they had the most beautiful hydrangeas. I picked up a couple of blue ones for the north side of the house – they were half off. The soil there is pretty acidic so they should do well. I’m thinking of adding some hostas underneath as a ground cover. Do you know if they need a lot of water? I remember you mentioned something about a drip irrigation setup last summer. I might finally put one in this year. Anyway, let me know if you want to come see them once they’re planted. I’ll send you a photo when they open up. Hope you’re having a good week!

I finished reading that book you recommended – the one about sea turtles. I actually stayed up way too late because I couldn’t put it down. The part where they follow the migration across the Pacific was incredible. Do you have any other similar suggestions? I’m trying to read more nonfiction this year. Also, I finally signed up for that pottery class I was talking about. It starts next Wednesday and I’m a little nervous but excited. The instructor said we’ll start with hand-building before trying the wheel. I’ll let you know how it goes. Let me know if you want to grab coffee this weekend.
