Yeah I think the trailhead parking fills up by 7am so we should leave by 5:30. The weather forecast shows partly cloudy with a high of 72 which is perfect for the ridge traverse. I packed the stove and extra fuel canisters just in case we want to make coffee at the summit. Let me know if you want to split the gear load differently. I also checked the park website and they said the south loop is still closed for maintenance so we will take the north route instead. Should be a solid day out.

I finished the chapters and honestly the pacing in part three felt slower than the rest. The character development makes up for it though especially how the author ties together the themes of community and resilience. I think we should discuss the symbolism in the final scene during our meeting. Does everyone want to meet at the usual spot or try the new cafe downtown.
