An Evening With...

Dr. Don Frazier and Ben Friberg

E Pluribus Texas

Video Series Premiere

How did Texas become Texas?

Join us for an engaging exploration of E Pluribus Texas—"Out of Many, One Texas," an innovative documentary series from The Texas Center at Schreiner University. As Texas continues to grow and welcome new generations of Texans, understanding the people, events, and cultures that shaped our state has never been more important. Through nearly 250 short episodes, E Pluribus Texas brings the Lone Star story to life, exploring the history, character, and values that continue to define Texas today.

Begin the evening with a VIP Reception ($20 per person) at 5:30 p.m., featuring hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and conversation with series creator Dr. Don Frazier and Ben Friberg. VIP guests will enjoy exclusive after-hours access to our new limited-time exhibition, DECLARATIONS: America & Texas Independence, showcasing some of the nation's most significant historical treasures, including an original 1776 Dunlap Broadside printing of the Declaration of Independence, an 1829 original facsimile of Thomas Jefferson's draft of the Declaration, the original 1836 journal documenting the creation of the Texas Declaration of Independence, and the only known surviving original copy of the Juneteenth handbill announcing emancipation in Texas.
