Mama Easter Bunny has been hard at work getting it all together for my sweet girl.

As a general rule, I like to keep Ellie’s gifts simple and not over the top.

It’s very tempting to spoil her because I have all the money in the world and I LOVE spending it on her.

BUT

My parents raised me to not be materialistic and I am so grateful they did.

I’m hoping Ellie also picks up on the joy of experiences.

And also, the joy of gift-giving. Some of her little friends celebrated Nowruz (Persian New Year) and Ellie got the opportunity to pick out and deliver gifts for her friends. She was very miffed about not getting any herself but I think it’s a good life lesson.

Anyways, that’s what’s happening over here today!!
