I love dogs. My wife, Grace, loves cats. So, we have cats.
When we married, we agreed, “No pets.” A few months later, we went to the nearby laundromat. While waiting for the clothes to wash, Grace looked through the storefront window, and I heard her say, “A kitty!” She rushed outside. She quickly returned holding a skinny, longhaired white cat that settled into her lap and began purring.
