Dear Eagle View Families,
What a joyful and heartfelt week it has been at our school! We had the pleasure of celebrating our incredible teachers and staff during Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week. Their dedication, care, and excellence make our school the special place it is every day. A huge thank you to our amazing PTA for showering our staff with appreciation in such thoughtful and generous ways—your kindness truly made the week special.
We also had an absolute blast at our House-themed Slime Night! It was fantastic to see so much House spirit on display. The fun event, led by our enthusiastic Student Council and sponsored by the wonderful Ms. Rell and Ms. Rodriguez, brought smiles to so many faces. Our student leaders went above and beyond—not only running activities but also staying afterward to help clean up. Their leadership, energy, and commitment were inspiring.
Thank you to all of our families for your ongoing support and for helping us build such a connected, joyful school community.
Sincerely,
KJ An
Principal
We believe in celebrating students who exemplify our school's values and inspire their peers. The selected students will be recognized for their contributions and receive special recognition for their efforts.
Each month, one student from each house will be nominated by staff members for going above and beyond in demonstrating outstanding character and behavior. These students consistently exhibit kindness, respect, responsibility, leadership, and a positive attitude. They serve as role models in our school community, making a difference through their actions and interactions with others.
Here are the students of the month for the month of April:
Amistad: Jensen Taylor (1st Grade)
Altruismo: Bennett White (4th Grade)
Reveur: Austin Lin (6th Grade)
Isibindi: Victor Oluoch (2nd Grade)
We are seeking enthusiastic, preschool-aged children to serve as community peer models in our Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) classrooms for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to grow socially and academically while making new friends and supporting inclusive learning environments.
We are looking for three peer models per classroom across the following programs:
-
Preschool Autism Classrooms (PAC): For children ages 3–5 Schedule:
-
Tues, Thurs, Fri: 9:15 AM – 4:00 PM
-
Mon, Wed: 9:15 AM – 12:35 PM (Includes a teacher and two instructional assistants)
-
AM Preschool Classrooms (3½–4-year-olds): Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:15 AM – 12:35 PM
-
PM Preschool Classroom (4–5-year-olds): Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:40 PM – 4:00 PM
Each class supports up to 10 students with disabilities, alongside highly qualified staff. Community peer models will play and learn side-by-side with their peers with special needs, helping to model age-appropriate language, motor, and social skills.
All children learn best through play, and intellectual and social growth is fostered through high-quality peer interactions. This program encourages active learning and meaningful friendships, while promoting inclusion and understanding.
Parents must provide daily transportation.
If you are interested in having your child attend a screening “play date” to be considered as a community peer model, please complete the Peer Model Interest Form by May 23, 2025.
Let’s build a community of learners, one friendship at a time!
