Dear Clermont Parents and Caregivers,
As the 24-25 school year comes to a close, the Clermont PTA is thrilled with all that we've accomplished together as a community. Moving forward into next school year, the PTA board currently has positions without any nominated members, and without those board members in place we are unable to produce events and perform vital school functions that everyone has come to enjoy and expect. Please consider joining the board and help us continue what the Clermont PTA does for our community.
Nominations are due Wednesday, May 14th and the board vote will take place during the general membership meeting on Wednesday, May 21st. If you'd like to nominate yourself or have any questions, please reach out to president@clermontpta.org. Thank you in advance for your support!
NOMINATION STATUS
- President- 1 nominee
- Treasurer- 1 nominee
- VP of Enrichment- 1 nominee
- Secretary- 1 nominee
- VP of Outreach- no nominees
- VP of Fundraising- no nominees
BOARD REQUIREMENTS:
- Attend (1) virtual board meeting per month
- Attend (4) virtual or in-person membership meetings per year
- Oversee committee/event chairs for activities and groups that fall under the individual role
OPEN ROLE DESCRIPTIONS

Secretary: Take official minutes for all membership meetings, oversee website and PTA email management, oversee social media.

VP of Outreach: Oversees all social school events, hospitality staff appreciation), room parent coordination, and spirit wear

VP of Fundraising: Oversees Boosterthon and Silent Auction (with support of fundraising chairs), oversee BoxTops and other passive fundraising programs
ADDITIONAL ROLE DESCRIPTIONS

President: Ultimate decision-maker for the organization as a whole; responsible for scheduling all meetings, and maintaining the PTA in good status with national and regional leadership. Also serves as the main liaison to the school

Treasurer: Oversees all financial transactions for the organization, including budgets, audit, and check distribution. Also responsible for legal paperwork surrounding 501c3 status and official PTA status.

VP of Enrichment: Oversees all programs related to enrichment of classroom activities such as Math Nights, Family Heritage Night, Running at Recess, and Science Festival. Also responsible for all before and after school enrichment programming offered by the PTA.
