Teacher Appreciation Week - Thank you!
I just want to send a note out to say thank you to those that dropped in to help setup, cleanup, or drop off contributions for our teachers this week. Each day they came to our table with big smiles and thanks for the treats that they did not have to share with our children. Thank you for the last-minute offerings, and the well-planned recipes and preparation.
If you are unsure about volunteering and stepping up, let me say that these events are great opportunities to not over think it. Are you able to drop in for 30 minutes to help setup? We had extra fruit washers to get our Market Fresh table setup quickly and then back to their day they went. Looking for a mid afternoon break? Teachers are much neater than our children, so folks that dropped by for 20 minutes to put things where they belong again were not grossed out.
You do not have to commit to a whole day for events like these (unless you want to) and the returns are totally worth it. Watch our amazing teachers and staff in action caring for the kids. Amaze your child by being in their school during the day so they can sneak a hug and show you off for their class. Everyone wins! Consider it a goal for next year.
