Disney Is Building A New Disneyland In Abu Dhabi
Earlier this week, Disney announced its plan to open a new theme park in Abu Dhabi. Disneyland Abu Dhabi, its seventh park, will be located on man-made Yas Island, which is already home to SeaWorld, Warner Bros. World and Ferrari World theme parks—with a Harry Potter park already in development. Disney’s new waterfront resort, its first theme park in the Middle East, will be developed and built by the UAE-backed Miral, while the park’s attractions will be created by Disney’s Imagineering team. Trip Advisor added a new category to its annual Travelers’ Choice awards in 2025, a One-of-a-Kind list that celebrates the world’s most unique and unusual hotels. Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur, India won the top award this year, and other winners include outrageous accommodations in bubbles, caves and treehouses, with bucket-list adventures such as sleeping with tigers or hanging from cliffs.
