Getting Mom Flowers?

You may be paying more

We hate to break it to you, but flowers are getting more expensive. The United States imports more than 80% of its flowers and, while some tariffs are paused for now, others are driving floral prices up amid florists’ busiest season.

Some are reporting cost increases between 10% and 20% while others say their materials costs have doubled since tariffs kicked in.

Here at The Penny Hoarder, we hate paying more than we need to for anything, even if it is for mom. Our guide on getting flowers for less — for Mother’s Day and beyond — will help you save on a beautiful bouquet.
