Wisdom:

This is a cool article title: Hiring builders, not bachelors.

It basically stats that in the near future people might not care as much about your college degree, but about what you have done already.

You can easily just "show your receipts" by showing projects or products you've you've built

Perhaps in the future you won't necessarily need to show a piece of paper from a college to prove that you're good for a job....just proof of work.

Interesting:

This is a great reminder from Jason Cohen (founder of WP Engine) that you should focus on solving a customer problem.

If you can't easily articulate it, very quickly, what problem you're solving for a customer, then perhaps you don't truly know or understand the problem.

I live in Texas and summers can got hooootttt...and being in my little garage gym gets very warm.

So I recently got a mini split AC put in there!

In like 5 or 10 minutes the whole garage is super cold when I turn this thing on:

I didn't know much about mini split AC's, but you can apparently hook up multiple heads to one condenser unit, so I opted to get another one installed in my upstairs bedroom as well (may as well whilst getting it installed in garage already):

98% of the time this isn't needed in the bedroom, but if I have guests stay downstairs in the dead of summer, sometimes my current AC struggles to cool both upstairs and downstairs zones really fast....so this is a "cool" backup to have (see what I did there)
