Now, this is cool! Blaine Letcher tells us he was on a walk one day on Whitefish Island and he was photographing a bird in a bush when a pigeon decided to drop in for a closer look. "You never know what you're going to see when you're out with your camera," he tells us.  This is certainly a keeper Blaine!

We want your photos that will make us smile: Share your photos with our Sault Sunrise readers. Send them to us, along with a quick blurb explaining the significance of the photo. Please send them to sunrise@postmedia.com .

We take a certain pride stumping everyone, especially regulars. But we like it much better when participants shock us, naming obscure tunes. Looking Glass had a mammoth hit in 1972 with Brandy. The next year’s Jimmy Loves Mary-Anne did not chart as well but is arguably just as good a song. This scribe likes it much better. Very jazzy and haunting. Naturally, much less played.

  TODAY'S TRIVIA

This scribe is glad he kept his K-Tel albums, collected as a kid in the 1970s - because that's the inspiration for these rather harebrained questions! In 1977, Sanford-Townsend Band had a huge hit that still receives respectable play. Their follow-up single, Eye of My Storm, flopped. Please name the band’s only big hit.

Hint: Think of summer bonfires.
